Head of Sales, Established Contemporary Brewery, National, Up to £80k plus Car Allowance and Commission

This company is one of THE up and coming Brewery businesses operating at a National level, with an exceptional range of product, innovative flavour portfolios and a growing distribution across both the On and Off trade.

My client is seeking a seasoned Head of Sales to lead their sales team and expand their market presence.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both on-trade and off-trade sales, a proven track record in team leadership, and a deep understanding of the brewing industry.

This role is pivotal in shaping and executing our national sales strategy, ensuring sustainable growth and maximizing revenue.

The Head of Sales responsibilities will include:  


  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive sales strategies for both on-trade and off-trade channels to achieve business growth and profitability.
  • Manage, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team.

    Set clear performance targets and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, fostering relationships with key customers and distributors to expand our national presence.
  • Utilize sales analytics to monitor team performance, market trends, and customer feedback to continuously refine sales strategies.
  • Work closely with marketing, operations, and production teams to ensure alignment and optimal execution of sales initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, industry stakeholders, and trade partners to enhance our market position.
  • Oversee budget management for the sales department, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximizing return on investment.

Have you achieved any of the following:


  • Proven experience in a senior sales role within the brewery, beverage, or FMCG industries.
  • Strong understanding of both on-trade and off-trade channels.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and sales performance data to drive strategy.
  • Willingness to travel nationally as required.
