Job Title: Damp and Mould Surveyor
Location: North London
Contract: Temporary

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a local authority in North London for a skilled Damp and Mould Surveyor to join their repairs team on a temporary basis at £300 per day Umbrella LTD (Inside IR35)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage Damp and Mould Works within residential properties.


• Handle day-to-day repairs, including kitchen, bathroom, and window renewals.


• Conduct refurbishment work and void works, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.


• Lead complex repair projects and disrepair works, ensuring they meet council standards.


• Carry out pre, mid, and post inspections for all related works.


• Ensure compliance with the Human Habitation Act 2018 and stay updated on relevant legislative changes.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in damp and mould surveys and repair work.


• Strong knowledge of building repairs, refurbishments, and void works.


• Familiarity with the Human Habitation Act 2018 and other housing regulations.


• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
