We’re working with a well-established hotel in Buckingham that is looking to appoint an ambitious and commercially minded Sales Manager to join the team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced hotel sales professional who enjoys building relationships, winning new business and driving revenue across a busy hotel operation.

As Sales Manager, you will take responsibility for developing and growing the hotel’s corporate, leisure, meetings and events business.

You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing existing accounts and building strong relationships with local businesses, agents and key clients.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing sales strategies to drive hotel revenue.
• Proactively identifying and winning new business.
• Managing and growing existing corporate and agency accounts.
• Building strong relationships with local businesses and key commercial partners.
• Driving enquiries and conversions across meetings, conferences, weddings and events.
• Conducting hotel tours and client visits.
• Attending networking events and representing the hotel within the local market.
• Working closely with the General Manager and wider commercial team to maximise occupancy and revenue.
• Maintaining accurate sales activity, pipeline and account information.
• Monitoring competitor activity and identifying new commercial opportunities.

Requirements:

• Previous sales experience within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• A proven track record of generating new business and developing accounts.
• Strong knowledge of the local corporate and leisure market.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A confident and professional approach to client meetings and presentations.
• Good commercial awareness and a results-focused mindset.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the wider hotel team.
