Job Title: Senior Events Manager – Hotel & Resort – Kent

Salary: Up to £38,000 + Bonus
Location: Kent

We are working with a client who is looking for an experienced Senior Events Manager to lead its commercial sales and events function.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on driving revenue across weddings, conferences, group bookings and social events.

You’ll lead the team, develop new business and work closely with wider departments to maximise profitability and deliver an exceptional guest experience.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and develop the sales, reservations and events team, setting targets and driving performance.
• Drive revenue across weddings, conferences, group bookings, bedrooms and catering.
• Manage enquiries, sales pipelines, client relationships and event handovers.
• Develop promotions, partnerships and sales initiatives to maximise bookings during quieter periods.
• Monitor performance, forecasting and profitability, ensuring excellent service and commercial results.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven sales, commercial or events management experience within a hotel, resort or hospitality environment.
• Strong understanding of weddings, conferences, accommodation and food and beverage revenue.
• Confident leadership skills with experience coaching and motivating a team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, organisation and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial awareness, strong analytical skills and flexibility to support key events, including evenings and weekends.
