Job Title: Iberian peninsula Operations Director
Location: Spain or Portugal
Salary: €70,000 - €90,000 gross per month + bonus

With a portfolio of 15+ hotels around Europe and with plans to continue expanding, this well established and trendy hotel with is looking for an experienced Director of operations to oversee the Iberian peninsula.

You need to have excellent knowledge of the hospitality market in the regions, have previous experience overseeing multiple properties at the same time and master the English language. 

As the Director of Operations for the Iberian region, you will play an important role in leading and managing all operational aspects of the hotels across Spain and Portugal.

You will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, optimizing operational efficiency, and driving revenue growth.

This position requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry within the Iberian market.

This is you

• Lead by example, fostering trust, professionalism, and achievement across all regional hubs.
• Provide leadership, motivation, and accountability to General Managers for meeting performance targets.
• Drive talent management and succession planning to develop future leaders.
• Set performance targets aligned with overall business goals and provide support to achieve them.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for regional hubs to enhance performance.
• Ensure top-line and bottom-line performance in the region.
• Uphold brand standards on quality and service and ensure adherence to health & safety policies.
• Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance guest experience and efficiency.
• Proactively implement best practices from top-performing hubs across the business.

Responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business management, or related field (master's degree preferred).
• A minimum of 5+ years in senior management in hotels
• Strong multi-site hotel experience is a must
• Proven track record of managing multiple hotels and achieving financial targets.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to develop and execute long-term strategic plans aligned with business objectives.
• Clear vision for the future of regional hotels and ability to communicate and inspire teams.
• Proficiency in financial and commercial management, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Skill in identifying and developing strategic partnerships.
• Fluency in English is a must.
  
  Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese necessary
