Semi-Skilled Fitter

A Semi-Skilled Fitter is required at a well-established steel fabrication company based in Essex.

Start Date: Immediate Start
Contract Duration: 4 weeks, with potential for extension or permanent offer
Hourly Rate: £22.00
Working Hours:

• Site Hours: 07:30 - 16:00, with 2x15-minute paid tea breaks and 1x30-minute unpaid lunch break


• Hours Per Day: 8 hours


• Weekends/Overtime: Occasional overtime

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and weld structural and architectural metalwork components according to engineering drawings and specifications


• Assist in the assembly and installation of fabricated components


• Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet industry standards


• Maintain a clean and safe work environment


• Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines


• Operate and maintain tools and equipment necessary for fabrication and welding tasks

Required Qualifications:

• Current fillet and butt weld tickets
