Welder

A welder is required at a well-established Structural Steel Fabrication company, the site is based in West London, starting Thursday 4th of July

Contract Duration: 2 weeks
Hourly Rate: £28
Working Hours: 8 hours per day
Responsibilities:

• Performing welding tasks such as testing stiffeners into existing steels.


• Executing fillet welds in downhand and vertical positions to be NDT-tested (Non-Destructive Testing).


• Conducting visual checks for butt welds infilling castellation.


• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.


• Ensuring welds meet quality and safety standards.


• Maintaining welding equipment and tools in good condition.


• Adhering to health and safety guidelines and procedures at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Welder, with expertise in downhand and vertical fillet welds.


• Ability to perform NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) on welds.


• Competency in visual inspections for welding quality.


• Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in welding operations.
