Steel Fixer

A Steel Fixer is required at a well-established Principal Contractor for a site based in Oxfordshire.

Immediate start required on July 2nd.

Salary Rate: £23.50 to £27 per hour
Duration: 3 weeks
Working Hours:

• On-site: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (9 hours/day)

Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints to determine layout and installation procedures.


• Cutting, bending, and placing reinforcing steel bars (rebar) in concrete forms.


• Tying rebar together with wire and welding connections where necessary.


• Inspecting and correcting steel placements as needed to ensure structural integrity.


• Adhering to safety guidelines and maintaining a clean and organized work area.


• Assisting with concrete finishing tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Blue CSCS card


• Own tools required
