Teach Plus are currently working with a Mainstream Primary school who are seeking experienced Class Teachers who would like to work within EYFS, KS1, or KS2.

With this Class Teacher role you will have opportunities to take responsibility in core subject areas or progress into senior leadership.

The right candidate would need to be motivated who thrives on change and challenge.

You will need to have a sense of fun, passion for education and clarity of vision to be able to put their ideas to the table, which can excite and engage staff and pupils.



As a Class Teacher you will be required to:



  • To plan and teach well-structured lessons to assigned classes, following the school's plans, curriculum, and schemes of work.



  • To ensure that accurate, regular assessment (in accordance with school policy) is carried out and that assessments inform future planning.



  • To adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils.



  • To set high standards which inspire, motivate, and challenge pupils.



  • To demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge opportunities for independent learning and the development of autonomy for all children in the group or class.



  • To support the ethos of the school and to contribute to the general well-being and safety of all the members of the community: pupils, parents, colleagues, governors, and all others involved.



  • To set standards of dress, language and behaviour which are appropriate to a member of our school community.



  • To communicate effectively with pupils, parents, and carers.



  • To carry out such duties appropriate to the level of the role as directed by the Headteacher or line manager.



The ideal candidate for a Class Teacher will have:



  • Experience Teaching across EYFS, KS1, or KS2



  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)



  • Enhanced DBS on the update service - Child work force only



  • Right to work with the UK
