Salary: £95-£125 a day depending on experience

Teach Plus are currently working with a number of primary schools within the Hillingdon Area seeking Learning Support Assistants to join their team.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be required to support pupils with SEN who needs additional support with their social, emotional and physical needs.

You will play a crucial role in educating and supporting children with challenging behaviours within the school provision.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of these students.

As a Learning Support Assistant you will be required to:

• Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs or autism.


• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.


• Proficient in challenging behaviour management.


• Experience in tutoring small classes of students with ASD or ADHD.


• Advantages: Positive behaviour management, restraint training, or a background in support roles.


• Advantageous: Experience tutoring within SEN schools or provisions.


• Ability to connect with students on a personal level, demonstrating a firm yet caring nature.


• Familiarity with special education practices and strategies.

The ideal candidate for a Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Have experience supporting pupils with SEN - ASD and ADHD


• CACHE level 3 Teaching and Learning support in schools


• Enhanced DBS on the update service


• Right to work within the UK


• Overseas criminal clearance
