EYFS Teaching assist to work in Barnet

Must be able to work full time as an EYFS Teaching Assistant

Salary: £95 - £130 a day depending on experience as an EYFS Teaching Assistant

You will be working as an EYFS Teaching Assistant, where you will be supporting pupils with SEN supporting their physical, social and emotional development.

You will need to be able to work as part of a team to ensure pupils' individual needs are being met within a fun and safe environment.

As a EYFS Teaching Assistant you will be required to:

• Setting up the classroom for lessons and providing a safe learning environment where pupils can learn.


• Lead Interventions in reading, writing and Phonics


• Writing observations on children's progress and relaying to the class teacher to put suitable next steps in place for that pupil


• Following targets on their EHCP plan and ensuring pupils are safe and happy within the environment


• Creating different learning materials needed for lessons/activities


• Assist with personal care and toilet training


• Use different communication tools such a PECS to communicate pupils and resources needed for pupils daily routines

The ideal candidate for a EYFS Teaching Assistant will have:

• CACHE Level 3 children and young people workforce


• Experience supporting in nurseries


• Enhanced DBS on the update service - must be child work force only


• Right to work within the UK


• Overseas criminal clearance
