Laser Operator / Improver

Tudor Employment Agency are currently recruiting for a Laser Operator / Improver to work for our client based in Cannock.

The purpose of a Laser Operator is to operate and maintain laser cutting machinery, in order to cut a variety of materials.

The Laser Operator is also responsible for troubleshooting and reporting any technical issues that may arise.

Duties:

• Loading and operating laser cutting machines
• Ensuring all Quality, HSE and Environmental process / procedures are followed at all times, addressing any quality issues promptly
• Monitoring laser machines during operation
• Adjusting laser speed and intensity to achieve the desired result
• Maintaining and troubleshooting laser equipment
• Monitoring the quality of parts produced
• Keeping records of production and operation of the machines
• Packaging and palletise finished work ready for shipping

Accountabilities:

• Ability to operate and maintain laser cutting machinery
• Familiarity with health, safety and environmental protocols
• Ensuring parts quality is to the required standard

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday (Mon-Thurs: 07.30am – 4pm / Fri 07.30am – 1pm)

Rate of Pay: Negotiable dependant on experience
