Tool Maker / Bench Hand

Tudor Employment Agency are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious West Midlands based client who are looking for a Tool Maker / Bench Hand.

Employment Type:          Permanent Position

Successful applicants will be on a Self Employed basis

Salary:                                  £40-£50k per annum

(£850 - £1100 per week - performance based)

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilise your toolmaking background to understand plastic injection mould tooling and procedures for repair, modification, and servicing.
• Work on bespoke tooling up to 10 tons.
• Apply your experience with hydraulics, hot runners, and hand tools.
• Machining skills and experience with TIG and laser welding are advantageous.
• Experience with overhead cranes and forklifts is a plus (training available).
• Demonstrate good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Produce high-quality work efficiently, maximizing your earnings based on your abilities.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday

7:30 am – 5:00 pm
