Job Title: Canteen Chef - Luxury Hotel
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Salary: €2,500 – €2,800 gross per month

We are looking for a skilled Canteen Chef to provide high-quality, nutritious meals for our team of around 200 people.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for fresh, flavorful food, this is the role for you! You will ensure that the staff canteen runs smoothly while maintaining excellent food standards and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals for hotel staff, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Plan and execute balanced menus that meet dietary and nutritional needs.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely service.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Manage stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients.
• Collaborate with the hotel’s culinary team to align with overall food service goals.
• Adapt to feedback and continuously improve offerings.

Requirements

• Formal culinary education – a diploma or certification in professional cooking.
• Proven experience in a high-volume kitchen, preferably in hotels or catering.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• A positive, team-oriented mindset.
• You need to be already based in the Netherlands
