Location: Plymouth
Salary: £33,487.74 per annum (including 20% shift premium)
Shifts: Rotating weekly shifts, 06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00 ________________________________________________________________________
About the Role
We are recruiting for a CNC Machine Setter to join a well-established precision manufacturing business based in Plymouth.

Working within a structured production environment, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC machinery, carrying out quality checks, and ensuring machinery performs efficiently to support production targets and high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and operate CNC machinery to required specifications.

  • Perform gauge checks and quality inspections throughout production.

  • Identify and report defects or machine issues promptly.

  • Ensure correct tooling is fitted and maintained for production runs.

  • Complete machine performance checklists and follow all safety procedures.

About You
Essential:

  • 2 to 3 year's minimum experience setting and operating CNC machinery.

  • Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to work a rotating shift pattern.

  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety.




Desirable:

  • Experience carrying out machine performance and quality checks.

  • Knowledge of precision engineering or CNC manufacturing processes.

  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
