Administrative Assistant

Are you an Office Assistant or Administrator seeking a temporary challenge? We have an exciting new role with a large public sector organisation.

The successful candidate will handle various administrative and clerical tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations and contributing to a project aimed at creating a more efficient and productive work environment.

In the Office Assistant role, you will be:


  • Performing various clerical tasks including typing, filing, photocopying, data entry, and scanning
  • Handling confidential and sensitive information appropriately
  • Assisting the Project Manager with administrative tasks related to storage spaces
  • Collaborating effectively with team members and providing assistance as needed
  • Participating in required training sessions

To be considered for the Office Assistant role, you will need:


  • A good standard of education, including at least 3 GCSEs or equivalent, with English and Maths
  • Familiarity with office environments or a willingness to learn
  • Knowledge of data protection legislation
  • Understanding of confidentiality principles
  • Proficiency in English communication is essential

This is a full-time, temporary position for approximately six months.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, totalling 37 hours per week.

The role offers an hourly pay rate of £11.79 plus holiday pay and is based at the organisation's main offices located near Colwyn Bay and Conwy.
